Begin your day with a visit to a traditional workshop that produces the famous “paja toquilla” hats known as Panama Hats, which actually originated in Ecuador. During your visit to the workshop, observe the entire process to produce the popular hats. Afterwards you will join a visit a local house where the family will be awaiting your arrival for a demonstration of preparing traditional foods. This delicious meal is then served to your table with a selection of fresh spices.

Your first visit will be to the neighborhood of Todos Los Santos, especially known in Cuenca for producing traditional bread in wooden ovens.
